Who we are

Who we are

A ‘moving’ story

Pelichet has been at the forefront of the moving industry since 1891.

Successfully meeting the advances in road, sea and air transportation, across 4 generations, Pelichet has constantly changed with the times, embracing the modern day changes in communication technology and the environment issues that concern us all.

From Geneva to Osaka, across the road and across whole continents, Pelichet has moved the belongs of countless families across the four corners of the globe.

Pelichet is also a part of the history of the city of Geneva and the major events that have marked it. One outstanding example is the transfer of the League of Nations to its present UN building: 6 long months of non-stop activity.

And in the 1960s, Pelichet was there to welcome the newcomers on the Geneva landscape; US multinationals such as Citibank, Caterpillar, Procter & Gamble, Du Pont, Hewlett Packard to name but a few. Many of these companies still maintain a relationship with us.

When the Far Eastern economies were taking off, Pelichet was there when it mattered, looking to the future, pioneering the creation of the ‘Asian Tigers’ group of companies – one of the largest moving groups in the world today.

In Geneva we continued to develop our services to adapt to the structural, architectural and technological revolutions in Geneva. We offer almost wholly automated storage facilities from large, bulky items to the smallest microfilms.

And our forward way of thinking has continued:

  • - extending our presence in Europe to London, Paris, Lyon…
  • - eveloping our technological tools to help our own clients’
      decision-making process.

Whatever the requirements be they on an operation level or on an information technology level, Pelichet is at the leading edge of global move and relocation management.
